Roger Federer Predicts Nadal and Djokovic Will Beat His Grand Slam Record
The first Grand Slam of 2020 starts on Monday and the eyes of the tennis world will once again be focused on Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.
Regardless of who you think the GOAT is, all three players will be considered the greatest tennis players of all time. Yet Roger Federer predicts that Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will surpass his tally of 20 grand slams before all three players retire.
Federer said:
“I think the way it’s going, Rafa and Novak will win more Majors (grand slams) than me because they are that good”
“The season they had in 2019 shows that there is more to come for them. After that knee injury in 2016, I would have taken one more Major and was able to grab three amazing ones. I had my moment and always said everything that comes after 15 was a bonus.”
