Nick Kyrgios’ ex-girlfriend Chiara Passari called him manipulative after recently breaking up with him after a tumultous relationship.

In October, the couple reportedly had to be separated by the police after an ugly row while they were in hotel quarantine.

That incident seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for their relationship. In an interview with Daily Telegraph, Passari opened up on the almost 18-month relationship.

“He love-bombed me for the first three months,” said Passari, adding that he turned ‘manipulative’ later on. He looked for flaws in their relationship to use against her.

During their time together, Passari made some of their private conversations public, including one telling her to collect her things from his house.

She once also posted an image on Instagram that she claimed showed Kyrgios in bed with another woman.

While responding to criticism over sharing the couple’s private messages on social media, she said, “It’s not for attention, it’s for awareness.”

“Why would I want to have attention on me from a story that makes me look weak and walked all over as I kept forgiving him and going back?”

Passari added that her family now “hate” Kyrgios.

The newspaper went on to speculate that the Australian tennis star was now dating Sydney-based blogger Costeen Hatzi.

Kyrgios’ life off-court has been far more colourful for the past few months.

The 26-year-old has dropped to No 93 in world rankings and was not considered for Davis Cup selection. His last proper tour match was the first-round loss to Roberto Bautista Agut at the US Open in August.
