Tennis players Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter have gone public with their relationship.
The 22-year-old Australian posted a picture of himself with Boulter on Instagram on Monday evening.
“Happy international women’s day!! Specially to this one, I don’t mind you,” De Minaur wrote, tagging Boulter and adding a string of emojis.
“Guess you’re ok too,” Boulter commented in reply.
De Minaur, ranked No 23, is one of the up and coming players in men’s tennis and won the first title of the 2021 season (Anatalya, Turkey).
Boulter, 24, is also trying to make her mark on the WTA Tour. Currently ranked at 317 in singles, the Brit had an encouraging start to the year as she defeated star teenager Coco Gauff in the second round of the Gippsland Trophy in Melbourne.
De Minaur had hinted at the relationship during the Australian Open. After beating Pablo Cuevas in the second round, he scribbled ‘KT’ on the camera lens. He was knocked out of the home Slam by Fabio Fognini in the third round.
On Monday, Australian player Matt Reid commented on De Minau’s post, saying it ‘must be nice’ to be Instagram official.
