Former tennis star Caroline Wozniacki announced on Monday that she had given birth to her first child, daughter Olivia, on June 11.
The former World No 1 had retired from the sport early in 2019, at the age of 28, after she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

When she quit, Wozniacki stated that she was also looking forward to starting a family with husband David Lee.

After two runner-up showings at the US Open in 2009 and 2014, she was able to seal her career with her first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in 2018.

The Dane also won 30 WTA titles between 2008 and 2018, and held the World No 1 ranking for 71 weeks.
She married former basketball star Lee in Italy in June 2019.

Lee, 38, played five seasons apiece with the New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors, one season with the San Antonio Spurs and a half season each with the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks.
